Pink Spear Productions is releasing unused portions of the raw interviews from “West by Orphan Train,” the award-winning documentary by Colleen Bradford Krantz and Clark Kidder.

Sam Wilson Hoff, a University of Iowa student in Cinema and Screenwriting, spent his micro-internship sorting through the old interviews with former orphan train riders and their family members. The smaller videos he has split apart will be released in the coming weeks on the relevant social media accounts. These include YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Although many of those we interviewed have since passed away, we think it’s important to share the portions of their stories that weren’t previously released. To see the full documentary, go to Amazon or Vimeo on Demand.

A special thanks to Wilson Hoff, a graduate of Roosevelt High School in Des Moines, Iowa, for the great work on this project.
